Choral Connections Christmas season officially ends tonight at the Aurora Christmas Festival at the PNE in Vancouver. There will be one more informal event on Friday, when some members of Choral Connections will be caroling at the Jingle Bells Night at Lafarge Lake in Coquitlam.

This was a busy season for the choir singing at Astoria Retirement residence, Lougheed Mall, the sold out Winterludes Concert at Terry Fox Theatre, Parkwood Manor and Aurora Winter Festival. Phew!! It also saw the World Premiere Performance of Gloria in Excelsis Deo. This beautiful piece of music was commissioned by Choral Connections from our incredible accompanist Vincent Lo. The choir was truly honored and enjoyed singing this lovely arrangement at most of their concerts. I have no doubt that it will be performed by many other choirs in the future.

Our new season starts with our first rehearsal on January 7th at Riverside Secondary School, Port Coquitlam. We do have room for a few singers, so if you are interested in singing in a variety of genres with a group of committed singers please come by and give us a try. We are an unauditioned community choir. You can out find more about the choir by clicking the About link on this website, or send us an email at info@choralconnections.ca.
